The new HTM 07-01: Safe Management of Healthcare Waste Guidelines identify the need for waste containers that are leakproof and puncture resistant, designed to collect, store and safely dispose of medical sharps and associated liquid waste.
The Frontier Medical leakproof range is currently the only UN 1851 and UN 3291 compliant range available in the UK. The container lids are colour coded in recognition of HTM 07-01 guidelines. The screw-on lid seals the container and prevents the spilling of contents during and after use.
