Audits

Frontier is committed to working with designated clinical professionals covering sharps safety to provide safe sharps practice.

The SAFE Programme - Sharps Audit Follow-up and Education is a five stage process following the clinical audit model which involves the audit of sharps within the organisation, the agreement of a recommended collective action plan, assistance with carrying out this plan (if appropriate) and a follow up audit to ensure compliance.

In Service Training 

A comprehensive programme of training in the safe and appropriate use of sharps containers to staff throughout the organisation and can be customised to meet individual trust requirements.

Training Packs

Frontier can provide training packs as required for in-house training or as ‘refresher information’.

Posters and Literature

Frontier’s in-house graphic design department produces a standard range of posters and literature and also works closely with customers to produce specific material to promote particular campaigns or initiatives.

CDs and Internet

Training information and literature can be downloaded by clicking here and a Sharpsafe product and training CD is available on request.

Sharps Awareness Days / Study Days

Appropriate provision of sharps containers is only part of the process of safer sharps practice. Frontier’s marketing department works closely with designated clinical professionals to ensure that events are organised efficiently and run smoothly on the day.

Trials 

Frontier Medical Products is committed to ensuring that Sharpsafe products remain pre-eminent in terms of quality and design and as such, Frontier is always keen to work with clinicians in order to trial and evaluate Sharpsafe products.

Area Sales Managers liaise closely with clinicians to determine the duration and scope of the trial and provide training where required.

Factory Visits

Frontier Medical Products is located in Blackwood in the green valleys of South Wales. We can offer guided tours of our manufacturing facility to highlight the processes involved in producing Sharpsafe products.
